A Honeymooners July 4th:

(Ralph comes home.)

Ralph: “Alice, you won’t believe what happened to me today. The Gotham Bus Co. are having a July 4th celebration the night of July 4th and I have been selected to get a real cannon and shoot smoke out of it on July 4th.”

Alice: “Ralph, that’s wonderful.”

Ralph: “I told Ed about this and me and him are going to select the cannon and bring it over to Central Park where the ceremony will be held.”

Alice: “Thars great but I hope that the cannon isn’t loaded.”

Ralph: “Don’t worry. It won’t be.”

(The night if July 4th, the wives arrive.)

Trixie: “There’s our lover boys.”

(They arrive with the cannon. Ed is the one pushing it.)

Ed: “Hey girls, you should have seen us trying to push this thing down the street. We were a riot.”

Alice: “Now Ralph, did you check the cannon to make sure it’s not loaded.”

Ralph: “Don’t worry.”

Trixie: “Let’s sit down.”

(They go to sit down.)

Ralph: “This cannon will be a riot. It will be great.”

(The fireworks start to shoot off.)

Ralph (getting ready to fire the cannon, yells): “AND AWAY WE GO!”

(Ralph accidentally fired a cannonball and it destroys a Gotham Bus Company bus. Mr. Marshall and everyone sees this. Mr. Marshall is LIVID.)

Mr. Marshall (yells): “YOU’RE FIRED!”

Alice: “How could you do such a thing?”

Ed: “It looks like one of your plans was destroyed.”

(Ralph fights with Ed as people separate them.)

(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: “Tgank you. GOOD NIGHT!@

(Criwd cheers.)
