When I was growing up I discovered the Fudge series when my school assigned my class to read them for our reading assignments and the only book I read was Tales Of A Fourth Grade Nothing and I found the book really funny and full of humor and I read it twice for school. Sometimes I found the funny parts so funny that I would laugh really hard so much that it would get me in trouble but my teacher understood and she'd laugh too. I didn't even know that there were more Fudge books until my teacher told me. And I believe in Superfudge the Hatcher family gets a new baby and Peter and Fudge have a sister nicknamed Tootsie and it's also really funny too. The last Fudge book that was released was Double Fudge which talks about Fudge's money obsession. I think had the Fudge sitcom continued it would've introduced more fans to the books and we need more kids books like these today

I read them in the 1980s, but did not know that there was a TV series.
