I've been trying to view all of Darleen Carr's 1970s filmed appearances; some of you will recall she had a recurring role on Streets as Mike Stone's daughter.
I was beyond excited today to finally catch Darleen's 1972 episode of Alias Smith and Jones, on MeTV Plus. She was at the apex of her beauty and had a great, substantial role. Here is her late '60s / very early '70s look: Another look at Darleen: Lots of dramatic roles: Here she is with Kate Jackson on The Rookies in an episode that aired just a couple of months prior to the Alias Smith episode. Two lovely ladies who were looking VERY fine: And we see her at work on Streets. Naturally beautiful, with great hair. |

Here are some more great looks at lovely Darleen Carr.
This first one is a nice example of Darleen's early look, with her center-parted long hair: Stunningly beautiful face: 2 looks at her later appearance - how pretty her eyes are: These last 2 images are from Darleen's 1975 episode of The Waltons (season 3). Absolutely fantastic guest role as an all-too-brief love interest for John Boy. Gorgeous brunette hair and very cute period costuming from the Depression era, Darleen is SO hot!! The expression on Darleen's face in that final image is priceless to me, she looks adorable. Unfortunately she was given a character unsuitable for a long-term relationship, so we have only one Waltons appearance -- such a shame. She and Sian Barbara Allen were both brunette hotties that really made John Boy's propeller spin...! |

Great photos.
Good supporting actress. Good to see some personal parts of the two detectives' lives. Odd she wasn't a bigger star. |
