Remember
1)The short-lived 1976 ABC comedy "Good Heavens"with Carl Reiner as Mr.Angel? And 2)The short-lived 1964-1965 NBC series "90 Bristol Court"(the 3 comedy series in one series didn't last-2 were evicted at midseason and the ones that were evicted at midseason,,were "Harris Against The World" and "Tom,Dick and Mary").Only "Karen"-with a theme by The Beach Boys(Yes,THE Beach Boys")lasted the whole season.

I remember Good Heavens. I used to watch it. It was a pretty good show. I don't know why it didn't last longer since it ended the season in the top 20.

yea, I also remember "GOOD HEAVENS" and thought it was good. I remember when ABC cancelled it, I was so mad
I remember, when they did they "burned off" the remaning episodes that summer. For those that don't remember it, Carl Reiner played a guy named "MR. Angel" who; every week; would grant 3 whises to someone he thought deserved them. But the wishes didn't always turn out exactly like the person hoped. And one of the wishes couldn't be for money. So it was like an antholgy show with different guest stars every week. I wish it'd get a DVD release. As for "90 BRISTOL COURT", I've heard of it but never saw it. |
