Default Got a new job and quitting my old one!

Not sure I posted this here, but in September 2021 I got a remote job. It was for a crisis center sending out referrals for those on Medicaid. I dealt with a lot of stress, between the callers and my supervisors. I was constantly getting emails bashing me about everything pretty much everything. There were different standards for me versus others, as in another worker could post something and no biggie but if did I was attacked. A couple of examples, but one time I posted in the group chat that I couldn't find a street. Other people have posted this but when I did I had another worker give me all the info. Cool right? Well, my supervisor tore me a new one in an email and then a week later sent me another email "reminding" me not to ask my coworkers. Then a few weeks later I shared in the group chat about a weird call. I didn't go into specifics just stating that it was a pervert. Other workers always share but once again my supervisor attacked me. Then there was the micromanaging, we had to log in before work, I got in trouble because I logged in at 8:02 am instead of before 8:00 am. We also have to go to lunch at a scheduled time. The pay is garbage too. I have insurance but it's crap as well and I'm paying for it.

Anyway, the same day I got the perverted call I got an interview and they offered me the job. More money, paid insurance after 90 days, pension, and no micromanaging. So a week before I started I asked to switch to 16 hours a week at my other job. I decided that my new job is going to be a handful and stressful (not micromanaging, just due to the job itself dealing with people with mental illness). I did plan to quit so this is no biggie, I just didn't know if it would be after 30 days or 90 days. Yes there is always a possibility I will be fired during my probationary period but it's a job I can do quite well (they offered me the manager job, I chose this one), and people have been "thanking" me for taking this job because they don't have to do it on top of their job (it's an assessment counselor job where I diagnosis what they need and we work on treatment options. I have to drive there but it's only 15-20 minutes away.

I am writing my resignation letter this week!

So an update: I started my new job on June 13 but am still mostly training because I need to get a ton of certificates. I submitted my letter of resignation a week ago for my other job and my last day is a week from today. I am so excited to leave this job but sad to leave great people. My new job has more opportunities and not being micromanaged,

If you are the holder of the sole Mega Million 1.3 billion dollars winning ticket sold in Illinois, you can tell them to take the job and shove it.

If it wasn’t you, hopefully the new job’s going well?

Going great. No micromanaging and getting better. More money and less stress too.
