I've noticed in this show and others like Sanford and Son, when ever the characters are talking they are always super close to each other, right in each other's faces. When Mike and Archie argue they will literally be in each other's faces... they rarely ever sit down and talk from a distance. I was watching the episode of Sanford and Son where the "Sign Guy" was conning Fred into having a bogus raffle giveaway, and he was constantly just INCHES away from Fred's face! That would make me extremely uneasy lol I'm guessing it's to do with camera angles or something, but its something I've noticed in TV shows...
Kinda like when 2 people are in bed at night and they talk, they ALWAYS have to turn the light on lol ppl don't do that in real life |

It has everything to do with camera angles. You can't get a two-shot with people standing ten feet apart.
If you notice on all TV shows with a live audience and most without, when they sit around the dinner table they only sit around half the dinner table. The near side is left open so no one has their back to the camera. |
