Serious question. Honestly, I think for me it’s been at least a couple of years. I have no idea anymore how much one costs.

A few weeks ago to mail in the property taxes, since they charge extra for an electronic payment.
Probably the first stamp I used this year. No, the second--I had to mail a check for the state income tax. Oh, right--I think Bonnie said sixty cents, but I don't know the cost, either. |

Current first-class: 58 cents.
I still use them for some bills, like my car insurance bill I mailed yesterday. Also, I belong to a club with 6 or so members that haven't given me any way to contact them by text or email, so I use stamps to send printed newsletters. |

I’m glad to see there’s still some stamp usage. I admit to feeling some guilt about not doing it, but everything’s just so much easier online. It does also work the other way, as many companies try to get me to choose no more paper bills and to just get an electronic one. |

Local property taxes did not charge extra for electronic payment during the pandemic, but they resumed the fee this year. They probably want to pass along a vendor fee, but don't take into consideration the cost of manually processing it all. The fee is a few bucks, IIRC--more than a stamp. |

1 stamp for the monthly electric bill. What do you people do about Christmas Cards and Birthdays?
My Internet Bill was 70.00 and they said we can reduce it to 58.00 if you do electronic and I said sign me up

I have not used a stamp in at least a year or more.
No more cards for anything, my family and friends are all in accord. They all eventually go in the trash. I've kept cards and they finally trash them.... BTW: for those still into cards, Trader Joe's has great cards and they were 99 before civud, I've worked on making cute birthday cards for special friends, with big fonts, colors, emojies and they really turn out sweet. And it's the time I put in them that counts. I do my best to customize for the person. And I have to be in the mood. |
