Actress Brittany Murphy Dies at 32 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

Very shocking and sad. Wow.

The only movie of hers I saw was Clueless. She was great in that. I remember watching her on the short lived shows Almost Home and Drexell's Class, and of course she was the voice of Luanne Platter on King of the Hill, one of my favorite shows. R.I.P. Brittany.

I wasn't a huge fan but she was great in Clueless, Don't Say A Word and in smaller roles in movies like Drop Dead Gorgeous. RIP

I saw her in movies like Clueless and Girl Interrupted, but what I remember her most for was Sarah, Tia and Tamera's best friend on Sister, Sister.

Yeah, Don't Say a Word is one of my favorites of her work. I haven't seen it in a long time though; I have it on DVD so I may pop it in sometime soon.

She is due to appear in Stallone's upcoming action flick The Expendables. In the footage that was released I don't recall seeing her in it so I don't know how much of it she will be appearing in.

If her role has to be recast or scrapped, I'm sure they'd include her footage on the DVD as an extra. Didn't they do the same thing with Aaliyah in her last movie (Queen something? The title escapes me.)?
