Why weren't other characters explored more... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

As per my previous post I've just come off watching the final two seasons. One thing I have often wondered is why different characters from the show weren't explored a little further...a few come to mind...

Foreign guy
Manny Doogan (Season 1 - was he meant to be the original "Bob", note the leather jacket)
Anita the hooker (although she featured in a few episodes she really added a nice twist to the show)
Ming (the black guy!)

Anyone here can add some more to the list?...

it certainly would have been cheaper to do so, after the cast demanded huge raises.

I think quite a few of the characters in the show from people in Becker's building, the diner and Becker's office would have added something even more to the show if those characters were explored a little more...

Anita the hooker was the stand out for me...would of been good if the Foreign Guy was introduced into the show...and Alexey the Super was always good...
