How come Oh Madeline got ratings in the 30's, while 3's was in the top 10, right before Oh Madeline? I mean, did that many people change the channel after Three's Company? I mean Oh Madeline's rating for it's only season was #33 I think, and 3's was like #1. I'm confused!

That last season TC was out of the top 20, not in it.

Yeah, "Three's Company" was definitely out of the top 10 during its final season. But even with TC's reduced audience, "Oh, Madeline" still didn't hold enough of it to be renewed. There was some talk about producing new episodes of "Oh, Madeline" for first-run syndication (this was around the time "Too Close for Comfort" successfully moved to syndication), but nothing ever came of it.
