Sound like a big Andy fan to me. I'll go for a chance at Stump Jobo On Andy Trivia. Unless you have all these episodes burned in your brain, you will have to go through each episode one by one. I'll take your word for the answers, because I don't have a clue myself and I sure don't want to start searching through my tapes. So here goes.

1. Andy was known for never carrying a gun. In how many episodes did Andy actually use a gun? Whether he used it to shoot at people,
shoot anything else, or just was seen carrying one.

2. How much does Floyd charge for a haircut?

3. In the episode Dogs, Dogs, Dogs, Just how many Dogs are there in the courthouse?

4. How many times does Barney accidentally shot his gun while it's still in the holster
while Barney himself is inside the courthouse.

And here is one Last Trivia Question that should be fairly easier than the rest.

5. The church needs a new organ. What is the price that they finally end up paying for the organ? ( This one I actually know )

Answers to the questions:
1.the only gun andy fired on the show was a shotgun.andy carried a gun in only seven shows.

2.floyd charged only $1.00 for a hair cut.
wish that was still the rate at a barber shop.

3.there was eleven dogs in all.

4.thats a good question, barney was guilty of that many times, but i'll have to check on that one for you.

5.i think it was $1200.

6.andy and barney were a very good team. when you watch the show you sometimes catch yourself thinking that this is a real town and people. when barney left i feel that andys mood changed because of losing such a big part of the show.

JOBO, I have to disagree with you on at least one of your answers. Andy fires more than just a shotgun. I don't remember the name of the episode, but theres some thieves escaping and Andy grabs Barneys pistol and shoots out their tire. I'm not 100% sure about the organ question, but if I remember correctly, they couldn't afford to buy the organ so they had to take it back. When they did, Clara Edwards cried and whined so much the guy wound up giving the church the organ and becoming a member of the church himself. So, I guess the price they paid was 0$ or what they received was a new church member.

Dan, your right that one had slipped my mind but, i believe that was a colored episode and it was warrens gun not barneys.if i'm wrong then there were two shows where andy fires a hand gun.

Hi Dan, JOBO,
If anybody can answer this, it sounds like you guys can -- what is "Opie" short for?
Anything?
I've found lots of theories, but no answers supported by data ...
Thanks,

I think it was Mrs. Mendelbright or something like that. She was an older lady.

I don't think anyone is for sure where the name Opie comes from, but one theory is that Andy Griffith and one of the biggies on the show named the character after a singer named Opie Cates.

Yes, it was Warren's hand gun that Andy fired. This was the episode where Aunt Bea worked for the counterfeiters. When Andy grabbed the pistol and shot out the tire, she exclaimed, "Well, just because they are going out of business is no reason to shoot at them."
