Ads appearing in the Honeymooners Comic Books question: - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

While browsing my Honeymooners comic books (1950s version), I of course have come across ads that are of course completly outdated. However, one ad that got my attention was for an ad that has "Superman" saying: "Be my guest at Palisades Amusement Park in New Jersey." Sadly, Palisades Amusement Park has long since been demolished.

Now, considering this ad was targeted towards people in the New York area, did these comics only get distributed in the New York area? I would think it would be odd back in the 1950s for a comic book being distributed in lets say California to contain an ad that's directed towards people in the New York area. This ad appeared in this Honeymooners comic:
