For those of us who've seen Keeping up appearances, Have you noticed how Sheridan always never talks about girls and he wants silk pajamas because his friend does? Is he gay?

Hard to say... probably. That'd have made quite a good storyline actually, to see Hyacinth tearing her hair out over it!

On the other hand, he might just be like Frasier and Niles from Frasier... just wanting the finer things in life! But then his friend's name Tarquin does sound very gay doesn't it?

From the way Hyacinth goes on about Sheridan and the looks on Richard's face whenever she talks about him, I'd say yes, he's gay...
