Perhaps you remember the song I Like The Way that was a huge hit for R&B group Hi-Five? In 1992 Hi-Five was featured in a Sprite commercial singing a parody of I Like The Way but about Sprite. This commercial was probably the beginning of Sprite using rap and R&B stars in their commercials but it sure sold a lot of soda.
