Default Times when you had to side with Archie

we all know that archie has a lot of shortcomings but in the ep edith gets a mink I just had to side with him on the issue of his dislike for Russell dekiper russ was a bigger loudmothed boor than archie ever was even though I think he was wrong for not wanting her to keep the mink I sure can understand his dislike for Russell is there any time when all of you had to side with archie on an issue?

Archie wanted the mink once he discovered how much it was worth. Archie in the end wanted to keep the mink for the insurance money. But he was wrong and disrespectful to return a gift. But I do agree cousin Emilia's husband was a jerk.

I think Archie was right in Mike Comes Into Money. I was just a baby in the election of 1972 but if I was old enough, I would have never supported Nixon. However, Archie was right. Mike should have given some money to Archie and help support the family instead of giving it to the losing McGovern campaign. It made for a great episode but I sided with Archie the entire episode.

You definitely put on a sock and a sock, then a shoe and a shoe.

I was born a Catholic, into a very Catholic family, and many of the "outrageous" criticisms he has of Catholics in general, are humorously accurate.

I think that is part of Archie's mojo, although the callous things that he says are completely unacceptable from a PC point of view, they are often grounded in accuracy.

When he had tickets to a Mets game and Edith made him stay home instead and George ended up going to the game himself. I would not have given up my ticket

They were Mets tickets because Queens is the home of the Mets like the Bronx is the home for the Yankees lol

But you of all people should know that's not how it works. Otherwise you'd be an Eagles fan

No doubt about the second paragraph. McGovern had a less chance than Hell of winning the election and Meathead wanted to give a failing campaign of a wealthy politiican his money when Archie was giving him free room and board for over a year by that point. Archie was about 55 working the docks doing hard manual labor and driving a cab on the side to support the family.

In real life, Mike and Gloria shouldn’t have been married until he graduated school and gotten a job. Even in school, he could have gotten a job and rented an apartment and they could have been married without Archie paying for it (except in an emergency). ATIF is a fiction but I would have been against a man marrying my daughter and living under my roof, and it would have been creepy as the daddy to know his daughter is having sex the other side of the wall.
