Angry I would've gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling Christians!!!

Read this article below. Do you think this is serious? It's so stupid it has to be a joke, right?
Nope. These people are for real. Can you believe these ignorant, self-righteous bigots?! Have these people got nothing better to do with their time?!!
I'm sorry. I laughed when I read this at first but now it's just made me really angry. Here's a fun game - see how many glaring inaccuracies you can spot in this article.

http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news0602/scoobydoo.html

Excuse me, I'm off to go'n roll around in my own crap and inject some Scooby Snacks.....

I went to the site and had to reply to what I read... I could go on and on about the inaccuracies and that article. I had to admit I laughed when I read that the church wanted people to not go see Scooby Doo and give the money they would pay for the movie to them... and you can't just give it to any church... it must be a "Baptist church." Underneath the redrawn picture it says something about donkeys being the only animals that can talk... has anyone ever seen VeggieTales? A dog can't talk in a cartoon but a tomato can? Come on... Also they said something about it being bad that they drive in a van.. like none of them have ever driven a van? They question the sexuality of Fred... because of the way he dresses and because he doesn't show interest in the "prostitute" Daphney. Since when is it Christ-like to judge someone because of the way they dress? And they say he's gay because he doesn't seem to be attracted to Daphney, when you know they'd say he was evil if he was attracted to that "prostitute."

I could rant alot more but I think I've said enough for now.

For one thing, Scooby isn't the world's only talking dog, ya know? And what's up with a donkey? Another thing , do these people REALLY think we care where Scooby's name originated from or what it means, as a matter of fact? I think not... I'll also like to add that it's ONLY A CARTOON! If it were REALLY that bad, Cartoon Network and other networks would have never picked it up.

...and they were saying that the whole "scooby doo" name thing originated in the late 70's when, the tv show was created in the late 60's.

Oh gawd...I think this is the biggest load of **** anyone has ever tried to feed me. If you go to the church site for this thang, at the top it says, "...Unsaved are not welcome (as Jesus commanded)" Hah...um right. This is crap.

Some people just have too much time on their hands. It's just a cartoon, and people just dig into it as much as they can. It's always one show that people have to diss on for no reason.

Oh my god! I was reading other parts of the website and their beliefs are ****ing ridiculous. I quote from their site: "Please note - If you do not have the same beliefs as we do, you are going to burn in Hell forever." I'm going to burn in hell forever because I don't belief the same bull**** that they do. That site is really pissing me off... read this:

"The following violations will result in a monetary fine of no less than $200.00 as to be determined by Church Pastors and Elders: Failure to show up at church on time, Failure to attend a church service without written permission from a pastor or other agreed upon authority, Church parking lot violations, Single males or females caught in the houses of members of the opposite sex without proper supervision, out after curfew, failure to tithe, failure to perform Christian Service obligations, Use of a church key without proper permission, Sleeping and/or horseplay during church services, reading of 'crime oriented' comic books, possession of alcohol outside of Post Communion Party regulations, idol worship, inappropriate dress in town or in church, dress related to 'counter-culture' movement, beards are not allowed except with special permission from Pastor Smith himself, long earrings on women, use of tampons is strictly prohibited, men with earrings or jewelry of any kind, hugging, possession of pornographic material (except for widowed or single men over the age of 65), failure to identify oneself to a church authority, failure to answer a call slip, witchcraft, dancing and/or skipping, association with Catholics, Presbyterians, Mormons, Methodists, Unitarians, Episkypols, or any other occult activity (unless under supervision by Dr. J. Edwards), failure to conform to rules and regulations, failure to submit to authority, the questioning of church authority is not tolerated and may result in dismissal, failure to bring at least one new guest to church a week, failure to win at least one soul a week, disrespect, lying, stealing, cheating, plotting, failure to have a demon-possessed infant sterilized, attendance at non-Christian owned picture houses, and rock music. General Rules are subject to change at any time without notice. Members are expected to find out what the new rules are within two hours. Let us note here, 'A Christian who is interested in doing their own thing, will not feel comfortable at Landover.. we would even go as far to question whether or not that individual is a Christian to begin with."

You can't use tampons! What the hell?!?! No hugs. We're all going to burn in hell forever. How much do you wanna bet that their pastor is single and over the age of 65? He gets to to pornographic material and nobody else.

If my figuring is correct if you followed all those rules you would be a perfect person. Nobody in this world is perfect. Guess just about everybody in their opinion is a sinner and has a round ticket to hell. I guess it saves up on space in heaven. *shrugs*

"The film's message is carefully disguised and practically subliminal, meaning it can only be overtly ascertained by people of higher intelligence, which, of course, is a group limited to men.

Blair Witch 2 is truly a moral breakthrough for Hollywood. The hidden theme of the movie is that physical and mental disaster befalls those who defy God's word. Satan is represented in this film by an old, decrepit female the movie refers to as a witch. However, the "politically correct" term by which these hideous, wart-covered, frightening beings prefer to be referred today is "wiccan." The movie's choice of a wiccan to represent Satanic evil in its purest form is brilliant. Wiccans and their male counterparts, warlocks, are best known for practicing human sacrifices and
consuming human blood for their sustenance. One would be hard-pressed to conjure up a more disgusting, evil being to represent the devil's chief ally. God told us in no uncertain terms that all witches will wind up in Hell (Galatians 5:20-21). And He made clear that all wiccans/witches must be killed (Exodus 22:18). While the Puritans did their best to kill all these minions of Satan, some escaped. After all, witches are females and, like the first of them, females are subtle and deceitful (Proverbs 7:10; Ecclesiastes 7:26). The wiccan in this movie escaped God's edict and took up residence deep in the woods. All of the other characters of the film know that those who have attempted to communicate with the wiccan have experienced a violent demise. This shows that sinners are aware of the consequences of succumbing to temptation, yet many defy God and do so anyway
"
This person is absolutely disgusting. How could anyone do such a thing like this stuff? I think that anyone that can be this judgemental gives a bad name to Christians across the globe and people none the less. Well I do believe everyone needs forgiveness but that doesn't make me hold back feelings. Wiccans must be killed? That is ridiculous. And might I add that some things he says are very offensive to me as a female. Not to complain but who said men were the smarter beings? He obviously isn't.
