(Blair is talking to her latest boyfriend on the phone, Scott)
B: Mh hmm. I'll check my schedule, hold on a second. ::Pulls out her pocket-schedule:: Well...I have Saturday free. How's that? Good? Okay, fantastic. Buhbye, Scott. I love you too. ::Hangs up smiling::
::Jo comes in the room::
J: Lemme guess, Scott.
B: Yup. We're going out to eat next Saturday - I am so excited.
J: Pathetic.
B: Excuse mua, but since when does going out to eat on a date become 'pathetic'?
J: That's just my opinion, glamour princess. (Sarcastically)]
B: ::Smiles:: That's me!
J: ::Rolls eyes::
((Girl's Bedroom))
(Tootie is studying for a History exam and Natalie is writing a report for English Class)
B: ::Walks in the bedroom:: Hello, all.
N: Blair has entered the bedroom, people.
B: That's right, and I am proud to announce that Scott and I will be going out to eat next Saturday!
T: Blair, did you ever stop and think that...nobody cares?
B: Tisk, tisk, TISK! SOMEBODY is in a bad mood today.
T: Well I'm trying to study for a History exam that's tomorrow.
B: Well pardon mua!
J: ::Walks in:: Will you stop using that word?
B: Mua?
J: Yes. It makes me cringe.
B: MUA MUA MUA MUA
N, J, T: ::Yells:: SHUT UP BLAIR!
B: Gosh!! ::Shakes head and stays silent for the rest of her time in the room::
((The Restaurant - Scott and Blair's Date))
S: So what would you like?
B: Diamond rings and pearls. ::Giggles::
S: ::Smiles:: Seriously, Blair.
B: Seriously!
S: I mean to eat.
B: Oh..I'll have a chicken salad.
S: That's it?
B: I suppose. Hey, how about going to Bloomingdales after this?
S: Um..what?
B: They are having a great sale!
S: Sorry Blair. Don't shop there.
B: Oh..::giggles:: I'm sorry, I forgot. Silly me!
S: I don't mean to sound rude or anything, Blair, and I do really like you..but..do you think about anything besides wasting money and going shopping?
B: Excuse me?
S: This is a night for us. We're here out to eat and all you care about is going to Bloomingdales the minute we leave for a sale?
B: Okay, I'll stop.
::Their food arrives and they begin to eat it::
S: You're beautiful, Blair.
B: Oh, I know.
S: ::Shocked:: That's a great way to say thank you.
B: Well so many people have told me--
S: --Blair we need to talk something over.
B: We do?
S: Yeah. We do. Now.
B: Alright..
S: I hate to say it, but you're acting so..selfish and..conceited..
B: Me?!
S: Yes, you. I tell you you're beautiful and you say you know? That's so..shallow.
B: But...
S: No buts. You need to change.
B: Why do I need to change?
S: Because you are getting to snobbish for me!
B: SNOBBISH?!
S: Not everybody has the money like you do to go out to Bloomingdales every day..nobody can just go out and buy gold rings and pearls whenever they feel like it.
B: But..that's just how I am..
S: Well I don't like it.
B: I've always been like this..
S: Not as selfish as you are being tonight, Blair!
B: ::Silent::
S: ::Also silent:: So..are you done eating?
B:..Yes.
S: Alright.
((Eastland))
B: ::Walks in::
MG: How was it?
B: Oh..it was great!
MG: I'm happy for you, Blair.
B: Yeah..so am I. ::Smiles fakely and walks upstairs::
((The next day))
(After class ends)
B: ::Sitting at her desk in the bedroom with her head down in her hands::
J: ::Walks in:: Blair?
B: ::Stands up:: Hi Jo.
J: What's wrong?
B: Like you care.
J: I do. Believe it or not.
B: ::Rolls eyes::
J: What happened?
B: ::Eyes begin to tear:: ..Scott dumped me.
J: Why?
B: ::Chuckles:: Like I'm going to tell you. You'll just agree with the reason he broke up with me.
J: Just tell me so I can help you!
B: Since when do YOU want to help me?
J: Ya know what? Forget I ever said anything. See ya. ::Begins to leave::
B: Wait.
J: ::Turns around::
B:..He said I was..selfish. And conceited. He called this morning to break up with me..he didn't wanna tell me at dinner.
J: Well..I can't say you arent selfish and conceited sometimes either.
B: I knew you'd say that.
J: Well it's true! You can't be this way if you're gonna have someone in your life like you had Scott, Blair.I may not have had alot of boyfriends but I know!
B: It's almost like..I can't help it anymore. This is just me! Blair Warner!
J: Well you have to begin to mature.
B: Mature? What does that have to do with it?
J: Mature so that you can understand how to act towards people. I know you probably said something like "Let's go to Bloomingdales" or "I want gold and pearls"
B: Exactly..
J: Well you have to stop saying that.
B: ::Quiet:: You're right. I have to "mature"
J: You act like you almost have no personality. Just shopping and money and looks.
B: ::Nods slightly and slowly::
J: I'm right, huh?
B: Yeah. I..guess you are. Why did you just help me?
J: What?
B: You always act so..sarcastic..
J: Like you don't?
B: So why did you just help me?
J: Because even though we may not get along that well..you still are my friend..kinda.
B: I am?
J: Yeah. I guess.
B: ::Smiles:: Thanks, Jo.
J: ::Slightly grins::
