When the traveling medicine man came through town and Aunt Bee and all her lady friends got drunk from the elixir he was selling.

When Aunt Bea comes to live with Andy. She can't play baseball, or fish or do nothing, so she goes to leave, but Opie saves her, so he can teach her all this stuff.

I liked the episode with the three women escaped convicts, who kidnapped Barney and Floyd. I die laughing every time I see that episode!

Two eppies come to mind- first has to be "Goober and the art of Love"- So many good lines there (Andy: "Goober, would you tell her to stop hanging her head out the window like a dog?" Goober: "Yo!" Also, there's Barney: (Goober will) "...horn right in, dragging that albatross with him!"

Also, the Colonel Harvey episode-

Barney: "Andy, I don't like to say this, but....
Andy: "You don't have to."
Barney: "If it was anybody else but Aunt Bee, I'd say she's tiddly!"
Andy: "If it was anybody else but Aunt Bee, you'd be right- but she don't even allow fruitcake in the house.......on account of a brother she had-"

Later, after discovering the half-empty bottle in the closet:

Andy: "Sure looks like she took the adult dose!"

Oh, I almost forgot Colonel Harvey's classic:

"Shawnee......I lived among 'em.......they're DEVILS......"

And Andy's reaction to this is one of the best ever!

I love em all but one that stands out right now is Barney taking off in his sidecar leaving Andy behind, the crowd of people laughing.

From the b/w episodes probably the one where Barney cons some businessmen into buying back their Miracle salve. From the color episodes the ones that included Barney when he would make a guest appearance. Also, the one where Goober grows a beard and gets real brainy.

I narrowd it down to 2 favorite episodes. My 2 favorites are: "Aunt Bea's Pickles", where Aunt Bea enters her famous homemade pickles in a contest. And I think it was called "Andy Learns To Cook", where Aunt Bea departs from Andy and Opie for a while, and Andy has to learn how to cook, and ends up being a total failure.

This is hard, but if I had to pick one, it would be when Barney buys the car from "Grandma Walton!"

"Hey Gomer how are you doing?"

Gomer: "Sick as a dog, but havin' the time of my life!"
