JTT’s popularity compared to the other kids

I wonder if any of the other cast members (especially Zack and Taran) felt some resentment towards JTT because he was the teen heartthrob, and he starred in some big movies like the Lion King, Tom and Huck, Man of the House … while the other boys didn’t have as big of movie careers or the popularity. Also, Tim Allen became a household name and became a huge movie star with Toy Story and The Santa Clause. I hope there wasn’t too much resentment with the rest of the cast. I would’ve been happy for them but yes, kind of jealous. Didn’t Tim and Jonathan have a falling out because Jonathan wanted to leave the show to focus on his movie career and college?

When Home Improvement debuted in 1992 it was destined to be a hit but when you have child and teen stars in sitcoms you know that the show will get a devoted fanbase of teenage fans. Which is what happened to Jonathan Taylor Thomas when Home Improvement became popular. Because when I would read my teen magazines I could never buy an issue of Bop Teen Beat Tiger Beat and Big Bopper without seeing JTT on the cover or on posters because I guess teens thought he was cute. But if it wasn't for Home Improvement Jonathan Taylor Thomas wouldn't become a household name by getting movie roles such as voicing young Simba in The Lion King and movies like Disney's Tom And Huck and he became a successful celebrity for Disney but unlike Taran Noah Smith I think JTT was the main reason why Home Improvement got huge ratings and it proved that whenever a sitcom has a teen idol it makes the show a hit

I hope that they didn't resent him. In my opinion, they probably had the better end of the deal. When you become famous enough, your private life is pretty much ripped away from you and in my opinion that is not fair.
