At the time her Forever Your Girl album was a giant seller singer Paula Abdul was the biggest name on the 80's scene and in addition to music Paula appeared in tons of commercials for LA Gear and other things. But perhaps the most famous commercial of Paula Abdul's career was a commercial for Diet Coke which debuted in 1990. This commercial also featured Elton John singing while Paula is dancing on piano keys and was one of the most talked about commercials of 1990. Surprisingly Paula Abdul would release her second album Spellbound in 1991 but the commercial is very well done. I wonder why Elton John and Paula Abdul never did a duet together in her career? But since she left American Idol you don't hear much about Paula Abdul these days
