the Clampetts are in a fancy Beverly Hills jewelry store. Granny points to a tray of rubies.
Granny: "How much fer one o' them red diamonds?"
clerk: "Madam, those are rubies."
Granny: "OK ask her kin we buy one offa her."
clerk: " The ruby I am talking about is not a lady."
Granny: "Lissen, how she got them diamonds is her business. I'm just sayin' ask her kin we buy one from her."
I'd say 80%.
There are some comedic moments, but it's clear the show had run its course.
The least interesting seasons are 8-11.
I don't blame the actors. David Ogden Stiers was good, as was Harry Morgan and Mike Farrell.
The scriptwriting was a lot weaker.
Snap Judgement -- which should never have been made -- was a 1-hour ep.
While the early seasons had some less than impressive eps., ala Edwina and the one with the female colonel claiming Frank raped her, I'd still take those over Who Knew and Snappier Judgement.
MeTV has started on season 8
...99.9% of seasons 8-11 are unwatchable.
