TV's worst sitcoms---ranked in alphabetical order

Last week I submitted my choices for TV's greatest sitcoms that began with each letter of the alphabet. I want to thank everyone who replied to my thread and participated with their own lists and I would encourage everyone to continue doing so if they wish since I believe it's a great topic. (For details see "TV's greatest sitcoms---ranked in alphabetical order").

Today I'd like to head in the opposite direction and pick out the worst shows that begin with each letter. Because of the high failure rate of TV sitcoms, this category had a lot more choices to pick from, but as you'll see, even some long-running hits have been absolute stinkers. Fittingly enough, it seems that the lowest of the low have settled in on the "F" side. There's a lot of "F" words that I could use to describe those shows but I'll leave that up to you. As in my last list, the "M" group will have 10 shows listed instead of 5 and you'll see why when you get there. So here we go with the real dirt on TV sitcoms, literally!

I have to disagree with you on Hangin with Mr. Cooper and Mama's Family! I love those shows! I grew up watching their re-runs! They rock!

I agree with jeannieindallas. Mama's Family is the best. But I really agree on most of the other choices you made. And hey, it's your opinion!! I'd do a list too, but I just don't have the time, I may later. Good choices (most of em)!

I disagree with you on Doogie Howser, Full House, Fresh Prince, Growing Pains, Jesse, Kirk, Mama's Family, Norm, The Osbournes, Reba, Sister Sister, Titus, Two Guys and a Girl, Who's the Boss, and Watching Ellie. I love all those shows.

- gasp - I can't believe it! I love some of those shows. Who's The Boss is one of my favorites. Titus was hillarious, The Bernie Mac Show is hillarious. I don't know anyone who didn't get a kick out of Unhappily Ever After. Shasta McNasty was a great show! Full House was cute. Grounded For Life is very funny. I watch that show alot. Reba,Raising Dad, The Fresh Prince,Family Guy,Futurama, The Osbournes,Growing Pains, Martin, Keenan & Kel...all of those are great! To each is own but there are more on the list I disagree with but Who's The Boss is one of my all-time favorites!

I agree with most of those on the list. I CANT STAND full house, or the osbournes. But I am in love with anY show from NBC. I can't bear to watch anything from ABC.
Just a thought....

Oh and I discovered that "Threes a crowd" was absent from the list. Hmmmm.

Ewww....anything that was made on NBC from 1996 to now was terrible, unoriginal, and predictable, imho. ABC, imo, has ALWAYS been a great network. From long-running favorites such as "Ozzie and Harriet" and "Dynasty" to short lived wonders "The Ropers" and "Gidget" and "The Flying Nun."

Me too. Every since they put on Millionaire the rest of their programming got really bad. They cancelled all the shows I use to watch about like Two Guys and a Girl and Norm.

2. LADIES MAN (1999-2001)-I LOVED this show! I like the 1st Bonnie more than Kaley Cuoco but I actually prefer the 2nd season more because of Alex Trebeck and a longer theme song.

4. THE MICHAEL RICHARDS SHOW (2000)-This show sucked but it wasn't as bad as Bob Patterson.
5. MARTIN (1992-97)-He can be funny sometimes but only taken in small doses.
6. MOESHA (1996-2001)-A bit too preachy but it's ok.
7. MAMA'S FAMILY-See "Martin"
8. MR BELVEDERE

2. TITUS-This show was annoying but was KIND of funny!
3. TUCKER (2000)-I watched it only because of Katey Segal,Seth Green and the girl that played McKenna.She was hot! I watched it once and then said "Let's watch again next week" and then it was cancelled.
4. TEEN ANGEL (1997-98)-I liked it but it jumped when they got rid of Maureen and the aunt and brought in the dad and Jerry Van Dyke (Who was also appearing in "You Wish" which aired right after "Teen Angel"!)
5. TWO GUYS AND A GIRL (AND A PIZZA PLACE)-I LOVED this show!

ARCTU is one of my top favorite sitcoms..oh well. Everyone likes different shows I guess.
