Yeah I don't know how dating habits were among single people in the 80's I was just a kid and always was curious, know I realize it was just lazy writing to wrap up the episode.

I can also bring up the episode that introduces Cindy Snow in which she ignorantly sets up both Jack and Janet's respective dates together all based on their astrological signs, again lazy writing.

With Bob, I can kinda understand because Teri told him that she found him another date. She never told him that she had Janet in mind so Bob was confused and thought that Jack's girl was the girl that Teri found for him. As for Jack's girl, she's just a great big HO. There is no excuse for that tramp.
