When it was announced that NBC no longer was gonna air their cartoon block and replace it with a Saturday edition of Today and created the teen oriented sitcom block TNBC I think it was a smart move since Saved By The Bell was launched in 1989 and was a monster hit and spun-off many sitcoms of Saved By The Bell and I think since Saved By The Bell was already a smash hit they decided to add more teen oriented sitcoms and give teens their own block called TNBC. Starting with California Dreams NBC knew that the TNBC block was on it's way to becoming a success and with California Dreams a surprise hit TNBC turned itself into a success in no time. Once Hang Time City Guys and One World debuted and Saved By The Bell ended it's run NBC knew that this block was their way of making their dream come true of having a teen oriented sitcom block. And based on that success other channels started to copy TNBC such as Nickelodeon with The-N and Disney Channel with teen sitcom blocks of their own. It would be cool if Peacock did something like this to their lineup because with their Saved By The Bell revival a hit Peacock should add reruns of Hang Time California Dreams and other teen sitcoms it would be a hit indeed
