Seeing Bestie's thread made me think of this artist's great songs. Here's a not-too-familiar one if you listened to top 40 radio (1983 - U.S. Hot 100 #55, Adult Contemporary #2, Country #1):

I like Eddie Rabbitt's song "Suspicions" which was a Billboard hit in 1979, reaching the #13 spot.

Other than my first choice I love "I Love a Rainy Night." Probably my number one choice by him is one of yours, "Step by Step." Ask her out and treat her like a lady. Take her in your arms and never let her go.

(Edit: Just listened to "Suspicions." Another good one I forgot about.)
