An I Love Lucy Easter:

(Lucy & Ethel are in front of the Wednesday Afternoon Fine Arts League along with Carolyn Applebee. They are handing out colored Easter eggs to kids.)

Lucy: “Look at the smug Carolyn. She is so smug with all those kids in front of her. If she can get away with it, she would have the Easter Bunny with her.”

Ethel: “Well, she has a lot more kids than we did all afternoon. I’m surprised that Fred didn’t come by and get some eggs for him to eat.”

Carolyn: “Hey Lucy, after today you will have egg all over your face due to me winning this competition. I would love that big screen TV.”

(Lucy sticks her tongue out.)

Lucy: “Oooh, Carolyn makes me so mad.”

(Some high school kids come by. They get eggs from Carolyn.)

Boy: “Let’s cause trouble. That redhead deserves to be egged.”

(They do. Lucy turns around and thinks Carolyn did it.)

Lucy (yells): “OK CAROLYN, YOU ASKED FOR IT.”

(Lucy throws eggs at Carolyn. Lucy laughs. A huge egg fight develops. All three girls have eggs all over them. Ricky comes by and when he does, he gets egged.)

Ricky (yells): “WHAT HAPPENED?”

Carolyn: “Lucy started it.”

Lucy: “Carolyn did.”

Carolyn: “It must have been those high school kids that came by here. They cause trouble.”

(The head of the Wednesday Afternoon Fine Arts League comes by.)

Woman: “Due to all three of you acting like babies, nobody gets the TV. Happy Easter.”

Lucy: “Eewwwww.”
