Is there something going on with Google Chrome? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

For the past two days when I have been doing internet I noticed that Google Chrome flashes green and when I exit Google Chrome I get a message that Google Chrome is downloading something but it don't say what it's downloading and I have not downloaded anything lately? Is this some update that Google is doing to Chrome?

Yanno? So long as you have google software products on your machine, then the computer never really belongs to you....they are just that devious.

I remember under windows, chrome was always "updating" itself. "Beware the Greeks bearing free gifts" etc

I've got my system set now such that NOTHING can be written to it. All the cookies and crud are just written to a RAM disk, and then purged whenever I reboot.

I am still getting the green flashing from Google Chrome and it still is indicating that it's downloading something but I haven't downloaded anything and so it drives me crazy. I don't think it's an update but I think it's something else. Because when Google Chrome alerts you of updates it will flash orange
