Benson and Governor Gatling run against each other for the Governor's seat. The episode ends with them deciding to watch the results together.

Robert does not discuss the end of Benson here but I agree with him that the show was a "quiet hit". Because it did pretty well - well enough to last 7 years - but it did not reach the heights of other shows of the time, like the Cosby Show. It's really good to see his face and hear his voice again though. He is missed.
