This is my own fictional classic TV network that I thought would be fun to do. The launch date, I decided, will be next Monday, the 28th. Classics like Lassie, Hazel, All in the Family, and many more will be in the schedule. Please let me know your feedback!

I've already planned Mother's Day, Father's Day, even Labor Day marathons including a show that isn't on the schedule yet for Back-to-School but will be by late May! We are also doing a special "stunt" of sort for April Fool's Day -- stay tuned! Also, feedback from everyone who sees this is greatly appreciated -- the first schedule for all of next week will be posted tomorrow, I think. I've already determined a few new shows for the May schedule change, so that's set in stone, but the fall schedule is definitely open for suggestions -- more dramas? Less sitcoms? Let me know what you want to see!

I also regret that The Twilight Zone (1950s, of course) is not on this particular schedule. It definitely will be soon enough, as it is one of my favorite shows, and I want it to be the Halloween marathon on Family Classics TV. There are other shows I'm thinking about for potential additions to the schedule -- Eight is Enough could be a possibility, maybe shows like Mister Ed and Green Acres, and maybe some cartoons as well. I'm also considering other shows like Benson, Home Improvement, Mama's Family, Love Boat... but the fall schedule is far away, and is not set in stone yet!

Also, a definite perk is that most all of these show's episodes will be unedited (WKRP, for example, will have some music edits, of course) but most of these others (in fact, all on Weekdays) will be completely unedited with very limited commercials!

I like the idea of a marathons on holidays like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc. I haven’t done holiday themed stuff yet but I did do something for Betty Lynn, who played Betty Lou on The Andy Griffith Show and I had a Mama’s Family marathon for Beverly Archer, who played Iola Boylen, when she turned 73.

As for suggestions, I don’t really have any myself. Maybe it would be neat for you to add some shows like Home Improvement, Here’s Lucy, Marcus Welby, etc., but that’s about it.

Out of your list, on my fictional channel, Old School TV, so far, I have Eight Is Enough, Green Acres, Benson, and Mama’s Family. We could always “acquire” each other’s shows or “share the rights” to some of these shows.

I have actually created some commercials and promos for Old School TV, those are posted in the thread for the channel. Most of the shows are unedited, but some are edited, though at Old School TV, we try to “edit them as little as possible.”
