Default Rocky Horror

I love it. So much. Has anyone ever seen it? Has anyone been to a show?? I love it soooo much. I've seen it 465864385 times and still can't figure out the point.

At first I thought Frank killed Eddie cuz he was jealous cuz Rocky seemed to like him , but then it was like that Eddie knew something about the "plan" but I couldn't figure out what the plan was. I thought it might be the trip back to Transexual, but thats not too.....secret. But I guess it could be. And then Frank thought Dr. Scott was from the FBI or something....I didn't get it. I knew Brad and Janet were going to see him, but why was he at the castle. Well, I'm answering my own questions here....he was at the castle because of Eddie. But WHY? Sure, he got the note warning him, that they "mustn't carry out their evil deed." But what was the evil deed? Going home?? Or building Rocky? I don't even understand why they built him in the first place. THEN at the end when Riff Raff and Magenta come in....what do they have against Frank? I mean, he didn't do anything! Thats prolly why they killed him...because he waited so long to take them home.

I dunno....I'm confused. Anyone wanna explain this to me?????????????????????????

Of all the movies they are remaking these days, I think it would be interesting if they remade the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
There are certainly some colorful pop stars out there who could fill the roles.

Why am I picturing Brittney Spears as Janet?

It's basically living life ion the 60's. becoming a transexual was the "in" thing at the time. I don't rememebr, but i saw it a while ago on AMC backstory.

For those of you who haven't seen 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' allow me to fill you in:

It's basically a plotless mess involving a really annoying newlywed couple who have the misfortune to run into Tim Curry - who looks even scarier than usual cos he's dressed in stockings and suspenders. It's not a pretty sight - I guarantee you'll have nightmares for a month!
They stay in Tim Curry's castle. They sing a bunch of terrible songs. That bald git from 'The Crystal Maze' *shudder* shuffles around for a while. Meatloaf appears..........but unfortunely he's only on screen for about 2 minutes. They sign more crap songs. The clothes get even more weird.........

I'm sorry, but the whole thing is just crap. I mean, that's just my humble opinion and, to be fair, it is a bit of a cult classic. I just hate it, that's all.

The Rocky Horror show started out as a live show, then became a low budget musical movie. WHile it didn't make much money when it was initially released, many theaters started showing it at midnight screenings, and that's when people started taking notice. Fans began to show up dressed as characters from the film, singing along with the movie, and even performing the film in front of the screen.

VH1 periodically shows the film, plus it is available on video.

It's an aquired taste, I'll give you that, but the song "Time Warp" kicks ass!

Okay, first... Janet and Brad weren't newlyweds... they were newly engaged. I've loved this show for God knows how long. It's so stupid and fun. Normally, I wouldn't be a fan of a show of it's... caliber... I'm what one might call a theatrical snob. LOL. Anyhoo... I do love Rocky and I was Janet in a production. SO FUN.

I do agree they should do a remake of the film... but BRITNEY SPEARS? PUH-LEASE! She's not cutesy and innocent enough. NO ONE would buy Britney as being innocent... ugh. Janet still maintains that innocent-like quality even during "Toucha Toucha Toucha Touch Me." She's a goodie goodie... Britney doesn't even come close to one. No, no, no... NO pop stars in the show. LOL. It reminds me of the casting of Chicago, the movie... and I'm getting ill just thinking about it.

If they made a movie, I would love to see Bebe play Magenta... I think she would kick much ass! I can so see her in the role. I would love to see Alice in the movie... she was a GREAT Janet.

Anyway, they've been playing it late at night on AMC as of late. If anyone wants to catch it, tune in around 10-11ish. It's so fun.

Lilith: I mapped out our dominant and recessive traits on a genome square, applied Mendel's laws, allowed for anomolies, and concluded that you are the best biological choice.
Frasier: I see. Well, enticed as I am by your honeyed words, I'm gonna need some kissin'.
Lilith: Frasier, don't misunderstand. I'm not proposing any change in our relationship.
Frasier: Would we sleep together?
Lilith: I thought we'd freeze your sperm.
Frasier: Is that a yes or a no?
Lilith: Natural fertilization isn't practical. I'd have to fly to Seattle every time I ovulate.
Frasier: Right, okay. So then, your plan is for me to visit some local doctor, freeze my essence, and then bring it home with you.
Lilith: Correct. I'll take mine to go!

Okay, since we're not all thrilled about Brittany, we'll table that idea for now...

I'll admit Bebe would be great as Magenta.

Comedian (and cross dresser) Eddie Izzard would make a great Dr. Frank N. Furter.
