I wish FETV could do some deal where they show like 1/3 of their shows and the other 2/3 go elsewhere

I agree. They should send surveys out to their viewers on how to build their programming schedule and then narrow down to a few, then we vote, and the schedule is set accordingly.

Yeah that would be a good idea because they go from showing an episode of The Beverly Hillbillies to six to eight episodes of Perry Mason

Whew, Mannix is staying! Glad they slashed an hour off of Matlock. That show has been on for a long time. Now if only Perry Mason can be taken off a few airings too but thats the most popular show on the channel, so I doubt it.

I think its to promote their new channel Family Movie Classics (FMC). Which pre-dominantly airs John Wayne movies Its either this or we get a marathon of the Lone Ranger show.

On their Facebook Page, they do occasionally ask fans what shows they want to see on the channel. Can't please them all but at least you can say "they care". I'm just still trying to figure out why so many shows that use to be on the channel and just disappeared after a short time.

Patty Duke, Bob Newhart, Mary Tyler Moore, Father Knows Best, The Saint etc... all gone while not being on the channel for that long. Must be some kind of contract issue.

When I asked about why Bob Newhart and MTM were dropped, someone here said it was poor ratings. Anyways those shows are on Decades if you can get that, but also in Hulu's library and one can watch commercial free. Not sure about all of those shows.

Personally, I enjoy the linear format and scheduling of classic tv channels than just finding those shows on streaming. I guess part of me is old fashioned that way.

With Emergency's addition to FETV in April, Matlock's days of airing 2 back to back episodes on FETV are numbered because it will air once a day(just like METV is currently doing to it on weekdays) every Monday to Friday starting in April but luckily the back to Back Matlock episodes will currently continue to live on everyday right here on The PlutoTV's Matlock channel(https://pluto.tv/en/live-tv/matlock)

Somebody else posted about getting the HD feed of GAC Family on Comcast, which we don't get here (but we get HD assignments for channels that aren't HD, like TV Land--make sense?).

Here they must have bandwidth issues because we don't get FETV, either.

We just got FETV back as well, and it's also on channel 1095.
