Does anyone remember the episode of That GIrl where she visits a nun at either an orphanage or a school of some kind and the nun sings a song...."where are you going, my little one, little one, where are you going, my baby my own. Turn around and you're two, turn around and your four, turn around and you're a young one going out of the door"....Does ANYONE know the name of the song of Who sings it ...I've sung it to my kids for years but would LOVE to get a recording of it for myself and then. Please INform ANY information would be greatly appreaciated. Thank you.

I don't know if you're still coming here to check on this, but here goes:
On the episode the nun was played by Terre Thomas, Marlo's sister. I don't know if it was really her singing, but I think it was. The song is called Turn Around, and is written by Malvina Reynolds and Alan Green. You can see the lyrics here: Lyrics to "Turn Around" I see you can get at least two different recordings at CDNow; you can hear a snippet of these versions here: Kingston Trio: http://www.cdnow.com/cgi-bin/mserver...ITEMID=1173124 Dick & Dee Dee: http://www.cdnow.com/cgi-bin/mserver.../ITEMID=304980 Hope that helps. |
