Favorite Seals and Crofts Songs? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Here's my attempt to rank the greatest songs of Jim Seals and Dash Crofts, just going by which ones i still enjoy most:

1. We May Never Pass This Way (Again) (1973)

2. Summer Breeze (1972)

3. Get Closer (1976)

4. Diamond Girl (1973)

5. I'll Play for You (1975)

6. Hummingbird (1973)

Some of my absolute favorite songs of my childhood. These guys were outstanding singers/songwriters and instrumentalists/musicians.

I listened to them when I was a teenager and I still like their songs today even though radio stations very seldom play them.

East Of Ginger Trees is a pretty good Seals and Crofts song, it's the "B" side of the Summer Breeze 45 RPM single.

I also like England Dan and John Ford Coley. I thought both Jim and Dan Seals were equally talented.

I agree. Dan is another Seals--Jim's brother.

I've really enjoyed listening to a lot of Seals & Crofts lately, so I'll try a new ranking:

Here's my 1st attempt to rank England Dan & John Ford Coley's great hits:

1. Love Is the Answer (1979)
2. I'd Really Love to See You Tonight (1976)
3. We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again (1978)
4. Nights Are Forever Without You (1976)
5. It's Sad to Belong (1977)

(I was a little older when I first heard songs like "Get Closer" and "Love Is the Answer," so that factors into how highly I regard them.)
