Question Going to the movies.....

When I go see a movie at the cinema it has to be something I really, really wanna see otherwise I'll just wait for it to come out to rent. My nearest cinema is an hour and 15 mins journey on public transport away so half the time I just can't be arsed.
If I buy a movie on DVD I'll usually watch it constantly for about a week after I buy it. I think my record was when I bought 'Josie and the Pussycats' - I watched that every day for 2 weeks after I got it. But that's what DVD's are for, right? (Although I bought 'The Fast and the Furious' on DVD about 8 months ago and I still haven't even opened the box!)
What I wanna know is how many times have you gone to see the same movie at the cinema? I went to see 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' at the cinema threee times when I was a kid cos I loved that movie and it was the only way my parents could get me to stop bugging them. I'm contemplating going to see 'Scooby-Doo' again tomorrow just cos I have nothing better to do. If I do go again, that'll be the second time I've gone to see it. Of course, tomorrow, when I'm sober and I see how disgusting the weather is I may just change my mind, but we'll see........
What about you guys? What movies have you seen at the cinema more than once and why?

The only movies I see more than once are the "Star Wars" films. When i was younger usually saw them five or six times in the theaters.
Now that I'm an adult, I don't have time for multiple viewings. I have only seen "Episode II" twice.
Oh, the shame of it all!

Lilo and Stitch twice.... um, Flubber 2 times, Bring It On 8 times....

Although, my record for Bring It On is now up to 92 times to-date. So.

I barely ever bother going to the Cinema even though there is one 5 minute walk away from my house.
By the time you pay the admition and buy all the accesories, you could buy the special edition DVD for the same price.

Ummm I think the only movie I saw in theatres twice was The Parent Trap. I love that movie lol. I don't go to the cinema a lot... I'm not very big on movies. I have seen the musical Les Miserables three times, though lol.

Well if you are drunk (as you indicated by saying tomorrow you'll be sober) I must commend you on your typing abilities!

As for the question at hand....I saw Pulp Fiction in the theatres I think about 5 times. And I've probably seen it another 10-15 times since then.

Why? I dunno....I just really like that movie. But also, I don't think there is any way someone can truely appreciate that movies until at least the 3rd viewing, because the first time out, it's pretty dang confusing.

That was also back when I was young(er), and had lots of spare time and money on my hands. Nowadays I pretty much never bother to see a movie twice, unless it's at the cheap theatres and I'm going with friends who haven't seen it yet.

The most times I ever went to the theatre to see a movie was seven times. My sister and I really enjoyed the original Jurassic Park movie and had to experience it as many times as possible!!!
