Default Snake

Is it me or did Snake look noticeably older than Natalie? Too me he looked like he was pushing 40.

In real life, "Snake", Bob Romanus is 10 years older than Mindy Cohn.

Not that much of an age difference, but it is one. Bob should have been in his early 30s in the ninth season and Mindy should’ve been in her early 20s.

For whatever reason, this show almost always had boyfriends who were far, far older than the girls. A decade older, on average, I would guess. In the first few seasons, the boyfriends were played by adult men, which is kinda gross and totally different from modern standards.

To the show's credit though they did fool us. I never thought, "Oh, Steve and 'Romeo' must be in their 20s."

Yeah, I think the guys were young-looking geezers.

At the time these show were originally shown, I thought that none of the boys that I went to school were as buff as Romeo and Steve the Delivery Boy. They both were at least 21 when they appeared on the Facts of Life.

Natalie and Snake were about the same age range as my parents were when they got married.

Really? There were definitely some jocks at my school and some muscular guys (big school). But Steve and Jason always seemed natural to me because they "read" so young.

My maternal grandparents are 90 and my grandmother is 3 months older than my grandfather. The WIFE is older than the HUSBAND.

When I was a kid I thought that was so radical and unconventional!

My mother is three years older than my father. Never thought too much of it, other than (when I was very young) thinking he was older because he was taller.

Every man my mother was with was older than her, but my sister’s husband is one and a half years younger than her.
