Sanford and Son "The Musical" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was thinking that Sanford and Son might make a good broadway musical show given that alot of songs were sang on the show. Including one from Della Reese, the musical number Bubble and Fred did on the Gong Show. And the infamouse "If I Didn't Care." by Fred

The actors and actresses in the broadway show could do few funny sketches from the S&S, then follow by a music number from S&S. Also throw in some tap dances since Lamont tap dance on the show.

I think it will be a Broadway hit

I see a nightclub that's called "The Junkyard."

The episode "The Stand Ins" had a Fred and Scatman Crothers duet that's one of the best musical numbers in any sitcom:
