Default Favorite Main Criminal......

Who's your favorite main criminal?

Penguin (Burgess Meredith)
Catwoman (Julie Newmar)
The Joker (Cesar Romero)
The Riddler (Frank Gorshin)

If your favorite isn't listed, post who yours is I like each one that I listed above, so I don't know if I could choose a favorite one. I liked all 4 of them.

I voted for the Riddler, myself.
I loved the way Frank Gorshin delivered his lines. He would talk slow, delibreatly enunciating certain words, building up the tone of his then he would explode in laughter.
He sometimes really appeared to be nuts!

But my personal favorite was King Tut.
Victor Buono was the greatest! He was such a ham!

I loved the way Frank delivered his lines too. Then you have the laughter. I laugh my butt off whenever he laughs, even if nothing funny was being said.

I know they only replaced Frank for 2 episodes with John Astin, but that just didn't set out right. John just couldn't do the Riddler like Frank could. I guess you could say the same thing with the whole Julie Newmar/Lee Merriweather/Eartha Kitt deal. Lee was a good Catwoman in the movie, but I don't think viewers warmed up to Eartha like they did to Julie.

Yeesh...

John Astin was a horrible riddler!

I didn't mind Ertha Kitt taking over the role of Catwoman. She had an interesting take on the character, but John Astin...Yeesh!

There is only one true Catwoman and that is Julie Newmar.
She was able to combine brains and sexuality to make Selina
Kyle truelly memorable.

HOLY STICKY FINGERS!!!

I'm having trouble with the poll so my vote goes out to the Joker.

He was always my favorite. My 2nd all time favorite is The Catwoman!!! Meow............

Catwoman is my favorite (Julie Newmar was so hot back then), then Joker, then Penguin. I also like the Archer (Art Carney), Egghead (Vincent Price) and Bookworm (Roddy McDowell)

I have to say I agree. She fit the role like a glove. Her voice was even perfect, too.

She was so perfect in that role. I use to love seeing the sensual tension between Catwoman and the Cape crusader. WOW. They were **HOT** together.

Agreed and I think Adam had a thing for Julie in real life too. I think when Eartha Kitt stepped in as Batman you didn't see that sensual tension between Batman and Catwoman anymore. That was kind of a disappointment.

I voted for The riddler, because I loved his laugh that was time-less, but I thought his riddlers jokes and riddles were classics, I hated when he left, because it seemed like they ran out of Villians, it was always Catwoman (the second one, I thought she was pretty annoying) and The Joker, they even teamed up!
