Many people have expressed boredom with the summer, and a desire to go back to school, but maybe we won't all be so bored if we can have something to use our brains on! I'll get the ball rolling....
Here's a brain teaser: Can you find the hidden country in the following sentence: I really fear lions and tiger, but the animal I fear most though is the mouse. And for extra special super bonus points, can you tell me the capital of that country? |

Elephants worry about lions and tigers but if you really want to see an elephant run, put a mouse in their path. So maybe an elephant is doing the talking in your question and he or she lives in Kenya. The capitol is Nairobi.

Wow kitt, that was some pretty creative out-of-the-box thinking there! Grest guess, but no dice. Good try to Chris too. I'm not sure how you came up with India, but I' sure it was out-of-the-box thinking as well.
Here's a hint: the country is literally hidden in the words of the sentence...not in the meaning of the sentence. Hope that makes sense.... And also...Kitt is close to the general area of the world that the country is at.... |

Country: Mali Capital: Bamako (I'm not sure about the cap. I had to look it up, and I think that's it...) Am I correct, Bootsy? (At least with the country?)

Nigeria! Tiger is sort of in there.--Alright, alright, I know that's wrong. How about Cape Fear. Mighty Mouse wears a cape. He's a scary mouse.
Help...this question's making me demented! |

You have the "E" in really You have the "N" in lions You have the "G" in tiger You have the "L" in animal You have the "A" in animal You have the "N" in animal you have the "D" in and Is this it Bootsy? I don't think it is. |

Sorry guys, I was out of town for the weekend! Sorry to leave you all hanging.
FOLFanatic151 was right though, Mali is the answer. Here's how she got it: I really fear lions and tiger, but the animal I fear most though is the mouse. See it now? And apparently Bamako is the capital! I thought it was Timbuktu! Good job FOLFanatic! |

That is exactly how I got the answer. I had to get my World Atlas out to find what the capital is. I feel rather proud of myself. I was staring at that sentence for awhile. The approach I used was actually the first one I tried. I decided to use that approach because I'd seen similar puzzles in American Girl magazines! lol Ok, so, do I get a prize or a medal or at least a certificate or something for answering correctly? lol
