With Valentine’s Day coming up, I thought I would post these. Each episode is going to have its own message. I will try my best. It may take a while.

“The Fur Coat”:

Episode #10 (Syndicated episode #9)
VHS: Attached to “Bonus Bucks.” On the Columbia House tapes, it’s attached to episodes #10, #11 & #12.
DVD: On the I Love Lucy Season 1, Volume 3 DVD, it is attached to episodes #7-12 along with bonus features like flubs, series original opening, guest cast information, behind the scenes featurette, My Favorite Husband episodes “Anniversary Presents”, “Numerology” & “George Is Messy.” On all the other standard definition Season 1 DVD Box sets, it is Attached to episodes of the show & the rest are the same except for on set color home movies of scenes from “The Audition.” On the Blu Ray set, it is attached to the episodes #6-10 along with the bonus features flubs and on set color home movies of scenes from “The Audition.”

Note: An excerpt from the original script has the boys cooking up an idea to get the fur coat off of Lucy. It was canned due to the fact that back then the censors wouldn’t allow it. (Boy times have changed.) Fred says he will turn up the heat. He leaves. Later on, Lucy is still wearing the coat, says she is naked underneath the coat.
