Gloria Estefan's rare commercial from 1983
Many people think of Gloria Estefan as a wonderful singer who still has got awesome singing talent but a fact that may surprise some of you was that she appeared in commercials. Gloria Estefan made her commercial debut in 1983 in a Spanish language commercial for a supermarket in Florida and she sings a jingle in Spanish. This was at the time the only Gloria Estefan commercial before appearing in Sears commercials in 1996. What's also surprising was that in 1984 a year after this commercial Miami Sound Machine would strike gold with their first big Spanish language hit and their English language album Eyes Of Innocence debuted. As a Gloria Estefan fan for a long time I didn't know that Gloria Estefan did commercials and so this was a huge surprise
