His age keeps jumping all over the place throughout the series, as does Laura and Eddie. Eddie turned 16 in the fall of 1990 so he was born in October 1974. But then later it’s revealed he was born in Nov 1976.
Laura was also born in the fall of 1976, but then in season 7 and 8 she apparently graduated high school in 1996 so she had to have been born in 1978. Then it jumps back to 1976 as revealed in the final season. Same with Steve! (He was 16 in the fall of 1992 as he was learning how to drive.) He says they met in kindergarten in 1981. So they couldn’t have been 3! And yes I do have a friend that graduated when he was 19 almost 20, because he got held back and repeated Senior year. But that didn’t seem to be the case for Laura |

In the crossover episode of Full House Steve said that he was born in 1976, but then years later in a Family Matters episode it's said that Steve was born in 1977.

I believe that Steve and Laura were in the 7th grade when the show first started.
God bless you always!!! Holly |

That was really common for TV shows back in the day.
Nobody seemed to care if details like that were consistent between different episodes. |
