Default Something I didn't like about Potsie in the later episodes

I really don't like the way they handled Potsie's charachter after Richie left. While Richie and Ralph joined the army after College, Potsie seemed to stay in his home town, hang out at Arnold's, and do all the same things he did 10 years earlier. They should have had something exciting happen with Potsie, they also should have put him in more episodes.

Yeah, he really got lost in the shuffle when Henry Winkler became the star and storylines started revolving around Joanie and Chachi. At the very least they could have had him meet a girl and get married, that would have been a good sendoff for him.

What I didnt like what they did to Potsie came waaaaaay before that. It actually started as soon as season 3 began--which ironically happens to be my favorite lol. As soon as they went live, Potsie became the "dumb" one-and Fonzie was like the father. Potsie was the butt of everyones jokes (Fool of the Year???!!!!) The first 2 seasons he was like a softened Eddie Haskel-talking Rich into going to a strip club, getting drunk @ his cousins bachelor party, dragging Rich to a drag race @ midnite...I could go on....But as soon as season 3 came on he became dumb, stupid, basically a NERD, or a POTSIE. Yet, ironically, I also found those ones to be the funniest with him, but it still bugs me how the axed his "Eddie" image.

I atcually liked him that way, b/c he really fit in with Ralph then Ralph and Potsie are my favs, as I have said before, also but I loved it when he was a Potsie, sorry to disagree leicbbamakaui, its porbably the way it is when its a big POtsie fann, as big of a Potsie fan as I am a Ralph fan. But he was better with Ralph.

Oh, dont get me wrong RPRF, Potsie is my 2nd favorite character (right after Richie of course) and Ralph is my 3rd, I know to many I may shock seeing how Fonzie is my 4th, yes 4th favorite. i LOOOOOVE Potsie to death, hes so dumb and funny, but it was still a little disapointing to me to see him lose his "rebellion"--ya know??

Oh, I see, yeah I have seen some of those he's greta in those but he and Ralph go together like peanut butter and jelly, lobster and melted butter ( love that episode!!) , Hot Dog and fries, ham and cheese, tomato and lettuce, Abbott and Costello, etc. , without Ralph, Potsie was like peanut butter without jelly, Abbot without Costello, bacon without eggs, HD without Richie and Ralph ketchup without musatrd, hamburger without fires ,hot dog without a bun etc.
