The episode ends, you're ready for "You'll avoid a lot of damage...." but all of a sudden the song starts with "You take the good, you take the bad". You think the network skipped the closing credits, it's the intro of a new episode but you're wrong, it's the closing of the episode you just watched

I wonder if it was done on purpose or if it simply was a mistake made during post production. We'll never know

HA! Good catch, ITA!

Definitely a mistake, IMO. Maybe they put an intern in charge of editing in the ending.

A few years back, I saw/heard a similar mistake on a Friends episode I was watching on Netflix: instead of the familiar interstitial music they use over establishing shots of the outside of the Friends' apartment, it was the sound of the Sony logo!

Was it the full theme? It might’ve been the Ep was running undertime or they had too many credits to fit under the constraints of the regular closing. The Hogan Family used the full theme in one Ep instead of the regular instrumental closing complete with unaired sequences clearly meant for the intro.

It isn't the full theme, the credits end with the <<all about you>> line. I don't think it was too many credits, they only have two guest stars for this episode
