Oh No I'm done with renting!

This is the third time my property changed hands! I'm ****ing done with this!

The problem is...I have nowhere to go...except to be homeless for a month or two!

I can't live with my brother...who lives like a homeless person...I'm ****ed!

So OP what are you planning on doing. I know of people who rent rooms in their houses to students and others who can't afford to rent their own apts. I don't know if that goes on in your neck of the woods, but it goes on. A friend who now lives in Tucson and was in San Jose for years rented out rooms for years and still does. Helps the renters and helps her financially. I have another friend who did this for a while in her 2 bdroom apt. Again a win win.

When things get tough, the tough get going!!!!!

Dude, You should have saved your money for a cheap house in rural Ohio. Problem is you seem to be deeply committed to living in Cleveland. Cleveland is unworthy of your loyalty.

Ownership has it's downsides too, when it's broken, you are the one in charge to fix it. I owned once and sold in 5 yrs....CA is out of sight price wise...and I've had good experiences with renting for many years. I don't cling to attachments and owning something, it can start to own you. My parents had a hard time at end of their lives maintaining their house....$$$$$

Only other town I'm committed to is Milan...it's the birthplace of Thomas Edison and every Labor Day weekend, they have a melon fest...which was a childhood memory for me.

Maybe I can get a job working at Cedar Point or The Edison Museum.
