I would like to see a forum dedicated to music shows like American Bandstand, Hullabaloo, Shindig, and Where The Action Is!

Music shows fall under the All Other TV Shows section. I'm not sure if there would be enough relevant threads to sustain a new forum.

For discussion of any Sketch Comedy/Variety Shows (Saturday Night Live/The Carol Burnett Show), Talk Shows, Late Night TV, Short Subjects (The Three Stooges), Children's/Saturday Morning TV Shows, Music Shows and Commercials.

There are a decent amount of American Bandstand threads but not many for the others.

The problem with American Bandstand is it is unlikely to ever come to DVD or streaming because of all the music rights that won't get cleared up. So if you weren't alive during the original, you won't ever get to see it. The other shows OP mentioned I barely know about, boards for them wouldn't get action. Besides the all other TV shows board, if you want to discuss specific performances or performers from them there is the Chit-Chat Music board.

I added a Sketch Comedy/Variety Shows/Music Shows board. Some of the variety and music shows are difficult to categorize, so it seems better to put them under one section.

It's a shame no one has posted anything about An Evening at the Improv (that I could find). That was a pretty good show, back when A&E had shows worth watching. A lot of well known comedians got their start there.
