When i liked this show i never in hell thot i'd see the day that i'd post this but here it goes....

Ive been sicka this show for AWHILE....i mean after you've seen like every episode 7456437 times its just....annoying. I woke up 1 morning and i started to despise it lol. It's kinda ******** tho, like the themes song's all "the facts of life, facts of life" **** i got it stuck in my head now. NEways after u hear all of joe's insults and stuff they get lame. Like when she says "u should cuz spend ur time lookin at the mirror" or whatever and "adults dont stompt their feet when they dont get chinese food" after u hear it all it aint funny no more.

The acting was good [minus julie whatsherface] but why is every1 obsessed w/ the actors and why arent they ever in big screen movies. No1 even really knows about em cept for the ppls that watch fol and stuff.

BTW.....i thot that was gay how they made blair like "oh im so pretty the captain of the football team is always dying to meet me im gonna be miss edible" blah blah blah blah. Please. I didnt like mrs g either, she gets on my nerves i agree w/ with the stuff on this site www.geocities.com/ihateendagarrett

I'm touched you're in a sharing mood, but share with someone else. It's late, I'm tired, and people complaining about FOL get to me. Especially when those of us who would love to see it again are unable to. Go complain to the wall, it's be a better listener I do believe.

As for your insulting Mrs. G, I'll allow Lizze to handle that one in the morning when she gets on.

(I usually don't say things like that above but dang, I'm really missing FOL so sorry if I offended anyone or anything...)

Um, if you don't like Mrs. Garrett (which is a sacrilege to true FOL fans), and thought it was "gay" how they made Blair's character---who happens to be my favorite of the girls, and she was quite comical and necessary---why are ya hangin' around here where actual fans of the show gather?

I must admit, when this show was on N @ N- I wasn't too fond of it either. I guess I didn't give it too much of a chance. It came to Hallmark, and now its one of my favorite shows. Yeah, I still don't like season 1 all that much- but the rest of the episodes I've seen are good.

Obsessions-
Yeah, I'm not going to complain that you grew tired of FOL. Believe me, its happened to me numerous times. You can only watch so much of something before you say to yourself, "If I see this or hear this one more time, I'm going to kick the tv set over." Another thing that leads to getting tired of something quickly is if you overkill it on yourself. Take one of your favorite songs for example. What if you repeat that song about 50 times every single day? Chances are that you'll grow sick and tired of it by the time the week is out.

Okay, I think I'm done for my confession.

Although I do watch the show I do agree with you on SOME (not all) of the stuff you said. The Blair Warner character really doesn't impress me but the other three do. Natalie is my favorite. She has a nice voice and she is really beautiful. She will might be my role model some day . . . who knows. Anyways, I think you're right of growing tired of show. I can relate to that because it has happened to me on several occasions, especially with The Facts of Life. I'm not trying to put down this wonderful show but listening to same type of conversation and insults over and over again does get a tad bit boring. I wouldn't say Mrs. Garrett was boring because she had all kinds of interesting things to say. But I couldn't say that about Tootie, Jo, or Blair. The acting was GREAT . . . especially with Natalie! She was so good showing her emotions and expressing herself as well as the other characters.
The Facts of Life is a fair show and had plenty of it's ups and downs.

It doesn't matter to us...we don't "follow the crowd!" We like the actors/actresses that we like because they have some special meaning to us, not because"everyone else likes them!"

that is all I have to say...I hope all the people who are 'sick of FOL' and complaining to us about it read this, cause I don't wanna type it again...and because I think it's absolutely horrific that these people have nothing better to do than follow everyone else! What is with this, "No one else lieks them, why do you?!" BECAUSE WE CAN!!!!!!!!!!! AND IT'S REALLY NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!! THESE ARE OUR LIVES, NOT YOURS!! yeup... the only problem is with topics like, "This Show" is that I don't know WHAT it's about, so I don't find out, until I read them!I was also just stating my opinions! You posted this topic and I posted MY reply to it...with MY opnions included in the post...everyone is all, "oh yay, we get to post our opinions!" Until it's time for someone else to post there's who has a different opinion...and then it's all of a sudden WRONG to post an opinion because they don't share the same opnion...(I'm not nessicarily speaking of you, just, in general terms of SOME people on these boards)

also, IMO, I don't need to "chill." I stated my opinion, that's all...it just gets people to understand it/pay attention to it if I put it in huge letters...

Oh yea, also, I answered your question about WHY we like them...I gave you two reasons...because we can, and because the actresses we like have some kind of special meaning to us, we don't just like them because, "everyone else does!"
