Most of you, by now, have seen my comments on Valerie/Valerie's Family/The Hogan Family. Well, I have, of course, seen Valerie(1986-1987) I remember almost every episode too. I have never seen Rhoda. Was Valerie Harper's role any good. My mother and I were coming home from Sam's Club talking about her roles in her 91 Caddilac. I heard it was just as good.

I always liked Rhoda better. The characters were funnier, especially Ida and Brenda Morgenstern played by Nancy Walker and Julie Kavner.

Rhoda is a ground-breaking show that won Emmies; Valerie was not. Valerie was very funny, though, and could have been so much more if the producers choose not to fire her. Still, it did not change the sitcom world.
