Default Kentucky Fried Chicken….now with NO chicken

KFC's new menu item tastes like chicken (but isn't)

Kentucky Fried Chicken is going to sell a new menu item that contains no chicken — but tastes like it does.

The new plant-based fried chicken nugget alternative, called Beyond Fried Chicken, will be added to menus nationwide beginning Monday, Jan. 10 for a limited time.

It seems that this year will be a banner year in food especially in fast food restaurants. Because ever since Burger King launched the Impossible Whopper last year other fast food chains decided to copy Burger King's success and develop their own healthy foods. I think with this new Beyond Fried Chicken KFC is hoping to attract a bigger audience and since a lot of people are obsessed with new food trends and if this Beyond Fried Chicken sells KFC might just develop Beyond Fried Chicken Strips in the future and I think this is how fast food restaurants are gonna be now as time goes by

No chicken, no thanks. KFC is not a big choice anyway.

Reminds me of the man made chicken scene in Eraserhead.

D'ya think someone could invent non-chicken chicken strips that taste like fried chicken strips, but don't have that un-chewable string of cartilage that invariably spoils one out of three? I'd be all over it with some potato wedges and gravy!

KFR -- what does R stand for.

When KFC first hit my town maybe 30 yrs ago, it was very tasty, full of sodium and tons of breading, how much chicken I don't know. But I didn't order it too often.
