I saw Bob and Jodie Sweetin do a podcast this past Summer. You could tell he loved the kids like they were his own Candace, Jodie, Andrea, Mary Kate, Ashley.

5:03 PM PT -- The Orange County Sheriff's Office tells us, "We have no information on cause of death, and detectives have found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case." They note, "the Medical Examiner’s Office will make the final call on the cause and manner of death."

Yes Scotchnh2o is correct. When the news broke on TMZ it said it was suspected. When Returning to TMZ they edited the article.

Like it's been mentioned on the other threads, MeTV has acquired Full House and it will be launching on Sunday with a tribute:

Or not. Now the cause of death has been changed from a heart attack to a brain bleed from a fall.

Neurosurgeons raise questions about Bob Saget's autopsy

The New York Times health and science reporter Benjamin Mueller reports that the autopsy, released Friday, "complicated the picture of Mr. Saget’s death that has emerged in recent days: Far from a head bump that might have been shrugged off, the autopsy described an unmistakably serious set of injuries that would at the very least have probably left someone confused, brain experts said." The autopsy left a number of unresolved questions about how Saget was so badly hurt. "Some neurosurgeons said that it would be unusual for a typical fall to cause Mr. Saget’s set of fractures — to the back, the right side and the front of his skull," reports Mueller. "Those doctors said that the injuries appeared more reminiscent of ones suffered by people who fall from a considerable height or get thrown from their seat in a car crash." As Dr. Gavin Britz, the chair in neurosurgery at Houston Methodist, tells Mueller: "This is significant trauma. This is something I find with someone with a baseball bat to the head, or who has fallen from 20 or 30 feet.” ALSO: Saget's death is a reminder of why head injuries are so dangerous.

Bob Saget's family sues to block the public release of records related to his death

Filed by Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo, and his three daughters, the lawsuit seeks to prevent the release of “statutorily protected autopsy information,” along with audio, video and photographic information related to the autopsy. The lawsuit states: “Plaintiffs will suffer irreparable harm in the form of extreme mental pain, anguish, and emotional distress if Defendants release the Records in response to public records requests or otherwise disseminate the Records for any other reason or purpose."

Report: Investigators believe Bob Saget fell backward and hit his head on the marble floor of his hotel room's bathroom

According to People magazine, "authorities checked the marble end tables and counters in the bathroom, but found no traces of blood or hair. Now, they believe that Saget lost consciousness in the bathroom and fell backward onto the marble floor, striking his head (after returning to his hotel room at 2:17 a.m. on January 9). Police believe that a groggy Saget regained consciousness and stumbled into bed, where he again lost consciousness and died. His time of death was estimated to be around 4:00 am, approximately 12 hours before his body was found."
