Default Something about The Kleptomaniac makes no sense

Jack said to Janet & Chrissy that he was able to watch them get undressed while painting outside their bedroom window.Strange how that's in the script when they don't have a window in their bedroom

That is odd. There is another odd part of the script in that episode. After Jack realizes that Chrissy didn't really steal his money, he says something like "you should never borrow money from someone without asking." Then Chrissy replies with: "Oh, you mean your resume..." WHTH? That makes absolutely no sense at all.

Unless there is a window on the front wall which we never saw because that's where the cameras & audience were!

That we could see.

But we never saw every square inch of that apartment.

Shouldn't any bedroom legally have a window in case of an emergency (ex. fire)? Even though we didn't see it, I believe there had to be one.

There had to be a window on the side of Janet's bed.
What kind of a bedroom doesn't have a window? Of course it had a window.
Such a dopey thread.

Wasn't there a window in Jack's bedroom?

If it wasn't seen, then it was implied during the Jack Janet Terri episode where Jack has the ice or stolen diamonds and all 3 go into Jack's bedroom to pack a briefcase with money.

In the Kleptomaniac episode, Jack is seen looking through the window of his bedroom while he's outside on a ladder.

That's true but the girls' bedroom is longer/wider than the bathroom so what about all that extra room on the other side of the shower & toilet?

Hypothetically there could've been a window there but it was never shown. Also, I've seen a lot of apartments over the years & bedroom apartments ALWAYS have windows so it's very strange that Jack's room has a window but the girls don't??

(Possible exceptions might be basement apartments but obviously this is above ground.)

They actually showed the window that episode.

Remember Jack tied the sheets together so they could climb out the window but his knot failed so the sheets fell out the window!

If gangsters were REALLY threatening to kill you then you could jump out a 2nd story window especially if you're young like they were. You could sprain your ankle or whatever but at least you could hobble away & call for help!
